The Norwegian Epic
The ship itself is conceptually different from other ships. Curved walls, studio staterooms and a different use of space set the Epic apart from other ships.
For singles, the studio staterooms are ideal. The square footage is small, but so is the cost. No worries about paying double fare. These studio staterooms have exclusive access to a private living room that includes a television and private bar. It’s a great place to meet other solo travelers.

FreeStyle Cruising
NCL has created an experience to suit the needs of those looking for an unregimented cruising style. No formal dress is required, making packing simpler, but there is always an option for dressing up.
No set dining times means that cruisers may eat at any time convenient to them and adjust their eating times on a whim if they so choose. Self-assist embarkation allows passengers to leave the ship as soon or as late as they like and eliminates the need for vacating your stateroom and waiting in a designated public area. Discover the new Norwegian Epic here.

The Itinerary
The NCL Epic sails to the Western Caribbean from Miami on a 7-day voyage and includes the ports of Roatan, Costa Maya and Cozumel and three sea days.
Click on the map below for a larger view.

Volunteer Vacations
Looking for something different to do on your next vacation? Want to get more connected to the local community?

Perhaps you are a regular volunteer seeking new adventures and experiences; or maybe you are taking President Obama’s call to volunteer to heart. In either case, you will find opportunities with Better Good Travel to put your skills to work while on vacation. You will see another side of the place that you visit while still enjoying the parts that tourists love so well. Making meaningful connections with the locals always enhances your vacation experience.

Fundraising

We can help organizations plan fundraising vacations. We do much of the work, saving you time to concentrate on your organization and serve your community.

Custom Groups
If your group would like to travel and serve together or if you have a certain organization that you would like to donate your time and skills to while on your vacation, please contact us and we can make the arrangements.

The Cost of Volunteering
We don’t think that volunteering should break your budget or be a financial burden. If your heart is bigger than your wallet, you will find our volunteer stints very affordable. There are costs involved for transportation, meals and supplies, but none of these costs will prevent anybody from participating – unless you lost your wallet. For example, we may need to hire a bus to take us to a village where we will be volunteering. Many of the places where we volunteer operate on a shoestring and can’t be expected to absorb the costs of transportation and food for volunteers, which would take away from what goes to the people that they serve. We expect the volunteer traveler to pay for these minimal costs and please rest assured that Better Good Travel does not charge any additional fees over and above what the local organization charges us.

The same holds true for our group experiences. You will find the costs of our vacations and services very reasonable. We have not added hundreds of dollars to the cost of your vacation. Better Good Travel is committed to volunteerism and donates its time and expertise to the cause, without passing on extra fees to participants.

Watch this site for the announcement of dates. In the meantime, please contact us with your questions and suggestions.

If your organization needs volunteers, please contact us so that we may discuss our program.
